Hello, I’m Caroline.

I am an EMDR practitioner, trauma therapist and Mental Health GP.

I have a deep commitment to helping clients resolve past trauma. When memories no longer feel distressing, life becomes easier, feels calmer, relationships become closer and self sabotaging behaviours may drop away. 

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a thoroughly researched, evidence based method of treating a variety of issues.

I work with people who

  •  have memories which are distressing or persistently bothering them
  •  feel stuck with their talk therapy
  •  have identifiable adult trauma
  •  have a history of childhood trauma or neglect
  •  have experienced family violence/divorce/bullying/traumatic loss
  •  and many other issues

I take a personalised, empathic,
thoughtful approach to each client,
to maximise the benefits of EMDR
in a safe and nurturing environment. 

Kindness, connection and knowledge are the values most evident in my work. 

If you are finding that:

  •  traditional talk therapy is just not bringing relief
  •  that intrusive thoughts or memories follow you through the day or intrude in to your sleep at night
  •  you find yourself dreading certain situations or avoiding activities because they trigger unpleasant memories or thoughts

 Then you may be ready for EMDR.

Caroline is currently only working in the mental health field and is not seeing patients for general health care.

She is currently not taking on clients for 1:1 weekly therapy. To work with her please choose from one of the above options of Intensive EMDR, Group EMDR or Inpatient care (Women only admissions to Cabrini Lisa Thurin Women’s Mental Health Centre in Elsternwick, Victoria).
